Hamilton Farms Fund Raising Event!

Hamilton Farms offers a variety of fundraising opportunities for your school or non-profit organization to raise money. You may choose from a Spring, Fall, Poinsettia, or Wreath and Roping Sale. You will be selling Certificates through these sales with the exception of the Wreath and Roping Sale. The Wreath Sale entitles the purchaser to one 12-inch balsam wreath with a red bow or a 75ft. roll of White Pine Roping. Each Certificate would entitle the purchaser to one specific type of plant available at Hamilton Farms. Hamilton Farms provides the certificates for all certificate sales.

Below is a brief description of each sale. Please contact us for more information or to make arrangements for any of these sales. Should a certificate sale not be feasible for your organization, please contact us to discuss what alternatives may be available.

SPRING CERTIFICATE SALE

FLAT CERTIFICATE: Entitles the purchaser to one flat of annuals. Each flat has 32 plants (8 packs/4 plants per pack). The plants in the flats can be mixed and matched.

4 ½” “STANDARD” CERTIFICATE: Varieties include New Guinea Impatiens, Geraniums, Double Impatiens, Ivy Geraniums, and Dracena Spikes. Each certificate entitles the purchaser to one tray of ten of these 4 ½” “STANDARD” plant varieties. These may be mixed and matched.

*4 ½” “PREMIUM” CERTIFICATE: Varieties include Hiemalis Begonia, Dahlia, Gerber Daisy,Each certificate entitles the purchaser to one tray of ten 4 ½” “PREMIUM” plant varieties. These may be mixed or matched. Signs in all greenhouses will assist with additional “Premium” plant varieties available to the purchaser of this certificate.

HANGING BASKET CERTIFICATES: 3 Levels available:

  • LEVEL 2 – “PREMIUM” HANGING BASKET - New Guinea Impatien (part sun), Ivy Geranium (full sun), Streptocarpus (sun or shade), Double Impatien (shade), Portulaca (full sun),Trailing Petunia (full sun), Torenia (part sun), Scaveloa (full sun),and Verbena (full sun). Signs in greenhouses will assist with additional “Premium” plant varieties available to the purchaser of this certificate. This certificate entitles the purchaser to oneof these 11-inch hanging baskets.
  • LEVEL 3 – “SELECT” HANGING BASKET - Hiemalis Begonia, Fuchsia. This certificate entitles the purchaser to oneof these 11-inch hanging baskets.
  • LEVEL 4 – 11 INCH COMBINATION HANGING BASKET

This certificate entitles the purchaser to one of these 11-inch hanging baskets mixed with a variety of plants (bacopa, scaveola, petunia, etc.) in complimentary combinations.

The seller will take orders for Flat and/or Hanging Basket Certificates. Each certificate entitles the customer/purchaser to one Flat or one specific Hanging Basket as noted on the certificate.

ALL CERTIFICATES EXPIRE May 16th. They are active as of May 1st. Therefore, we suggest you start your sale approximately April 1st. Final counts are needed by Third week in April. Certificates will be issued to you the last week of April. Please plan your sale accordingly.


FALL CERTIFICATE SALE

9-INCH MUM CERTIFICATE: Entitles the purchaser to one 9-inch Chrysanthemum plant.

The seller will take orders for Mum Certificates. Each certificate entitles the customer/purchaser to one 9- inch Chrysanthemum plant as noted on the certificate.

ALL MUM CERTIFICATES EXPIRE OCTOBER 15TH. Final counts are needed by September 9th. Certificates will be issued to you on September 15th. Please plan your sale accordingly.


POINSETTIA CERTIFICATE SALE

6 – INCH POINSETTIA CERTIFICATE: Entitles the purchaser to one 6-inch Poinsettia plant.

8 – INCH POINSETTIA CERTIFICATE: Entitles the purchaser to one 8-inch Poinsettia plant.

10 – INCH POINSETTIA CERTIFICATE: Entitles the purchaser to one 10-inch Poinsettia plant.  

The seller will take orders for 6, 8, 10-inch and /or 10-inch Hanging Basket Poinsettia Certificates. Each certificate entitles the bearer to one Poinsettia plant as specified on their certificate.

ALL POINSETTIA CERTIFICATES EXPIRE DECEMBER 10th. Final Counts are needed on or about November 17nd. Certificates will be issued to you on or before November 24th. Please plan your sale accordingly.

*Please note that the size (6, 8,or 10 inch) refers to the pot size and not the actual size of the plant.


POINSETTIA SALE

Should you choose not to do the certificate sale, you may also sell these same size Poinsettias directly to your customers. You would take orders for the sizes available and set up a time and date for delivery. The sale should end before Thanksgiving and a delivery date should be scheduled for anytime after Thanksgiving. This is a very short season but it can be a very profitable sale. Please call to make arrangements or if you have any questions.


WREATH & ROPING SALE

The seller will take orders for 12–Inch Balsam Wreaths with a 6-Loop Red Velvet Bow.                               Or a 75ft. Roll of White Pine Roping

This sale requires an approximate count/estimate by October 25th to insure availability.
It is our recommendation that you set a goal of 3-5 wreaths to be sold per person.
This will help to determine the number of wreaths to order. Final counts are needed by
November 1st. The wreaths are delivered to us the week of Thanksgiving.
You will be notified to arrange for pick-up/delivery time.
